The 8th meeting of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Board was held under the chairmanship of Honorable Chief Minister, Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, where several key decisions were approved to advance sustainable development, energy efficiency, and modern urban services in the province.
In line with promoting renewable energy, the Board approved the solar energy project to power the Chief Minister Secretariat, Balochistan, reflecting the government’s commitment to cost efficiency and clean energy solutions.
Further, the PPP Board approved the establishment of a provincial Insurance Company under PPP mode in Balochistan, opening new avenues for investment and strengthening the financial ecosystem. Formal expressions of interest from the private sector will be invited in this regard.
The Honorable Chief Minister emphasized that PPPs are central to accelerating development projects with improved quality and sustainability and Private sector participation is key to delivering modern infrastructure and services.
These strategic decisions reaffirm the Government of Balochistan’s commitment to sustainable development, economic stability, and public welfare through effective collaboration with the private sector.
